GPA Grader is a small, free set of grade and GPA calculators. It exists because most grade calculators either hide the formula or get a detail wrong, such as counting a blank field as a zero or labelling a 4.0 as an A+. Ours show the working, and every formula is published.
Who runs it
GPA Grader is published by Galena Hall, a small independent publisher of education websites, including guides to accredited training programs in health care and the trades. The calculators here started as a tool for readers of those sites who needed to check a GPA against a program's admission requirement.
How it is funded
The site is free to use. It may carry advertising in future. It does not sell anything, does not take payment for placement, and has no relationship with any school. If that changes, this page will say so.
Accuracy
The letter scale and grade points used are the most common US ones, and the pages say so where it matters. Your school's own scale always takes precedence. If a calculator gives a result you think is wrong, send us the inputs and we will check it against the tests.
