    One aspect that is consistently ignored in these proposals is parenting education; without parents’ full understanding and support of their child’s temperament and development, we are not addressing the ‘whole child.’ There are nonprofits like Families First that offer workshops to provide the knowledge, skills and supports that parents need, but their community partners struggle with finding funding to offer these to their parents.
