A legislative Conference Committee has been appointed to negotiate differences in the Massachusetts Legislature’s Fiscal Year 2025 budget proposals.

This Committee — made up of three members from the House of Representatives and three members of the Senate — will make decisions on the parts of the budget that differ in the House and Senate proposals.

We expect these decisions to have implications for early education and care in terms of funding levels and potential, significant policy changes.

Register here and join Strategies for Children, Neighborhood Villages, and the Massachusetts Budget Policy Center on Tuesday, June 11, at 1 p.m. EST on ZOOM for “Breaking Down the Budget: Where We are and What You Need to Know.”

Even if you can’t attend the Zoom session, please sign up, and we will send you a recording and follow-up materials.
