It also supports the vital importance of natural intuitive understanding when working with children vs. applying adult centered theory.
I will have an article published in Teaching Artist Journal in October describing my doctoral research which took place in a preschool. It concerns freedom of movement and creative expression vs. more external control of how children were moving their bodies and expressing themselves.
